A follow-up meeting was organized as part of the Stand With Us program on July 3, 2023. This was facilitated by Projekta Suriname.
During this meeting, participating organizations, namely Plus.sr, Liefdevolle Handen, Denise Carr Foundation, WomenSWay Foundation Suriname, Stg. Nafasi and The LGBT Platform provided input on the progress of the program so far.
They also looked at ways to strengthen and deepen collaboration. Within the Stand With Us program, implemented by Projekta Suriname and PAREA, with support from the European Union, which focuses on creating the building blocks for an LGBTQ-inclusive Suriname, various capacity-strengthening activities for NGOs and neighborhood organizations are organized.
